The Waiting Game

When we were planning for miss Stella to come, we all thought she was going to come early like her big sister did. Emma was 8 days early and we were not ready for her. I had not finished training my replacement for work, house wasn't put together or bags packs. So this time around I wanted to be ready and not feel that panic that I felt then. When I went to the Dr on Monday November 23rd I was dilated to a 2 and almost all the way effaced, she did not think that I would make it until the next appointment but we went ahead and scheduled it just in case. The next couple of days I spent getting all the loose ends done up and even fit in a pedicure with my best friend in hopes that it would help start the labor. Then came Thanksgiving and the celebrating we did with family, but after it was over we were ready for her to come. Friday we woke up and went to my moms to make the gingerbread houses, she had dropped really low and we all thought I would not make it much longer!

So my mom offered to watch Emma and Aaron and I went and did alot of walking in Costco and the mall and then went out to dinner. Nothing happened so we went home hoping that she would come on Saturday. Aaron had off from work from Thursday until Sunday so we really wanted her to come so that we did not have to work about getting him home from work! Well Saturday came and went with contractions, but nothing really of note that would make us go to the hospital! On Sunday the 29th, which was her due date, I spent the first part of the day having contact ions but it was not until around 6:00 that they started to get stronger and closer so around 7:00 we headed to the hospital ready for this little girl to come out!~ These pictures are of us packed and ready to go! And my last picture pregnant! Emma stayed with my mom while we were at the hospital! Her bad had been packed for over a week, she wanted the baby to come more than anyone!
