Last year we bought a gingerbread kit from Costco and put it together after thanksgiving dinner. They kids had so much fun that we wanted to do it again this year. While I was at Walmart one day I found a kit that had 5 little gingerbread houses that made a village, we though that it would be perfect because then everyone would have their own. Well it did not turn out as we had hoped. Both Emma and Joey only wanted to eat them and we had to beg them to put them together so we could take their pictures. Emma's was the A frame house and Joey's was the one with the red roof. They were not happy and we ended up doing most of the work. We never got the village put together, only a couple of the individual houses. Next year we will have to try for something else!

Awe! How cute! I will have to do that with my kids!
Those turned out so cute! I think my boys would have rather eaten all the candy first too.
