Well here is the long awaited post! I feel bad that it has taken me so long to get this up here! But with recovering and guests I finally have the blog caught up enough to post this. Hope you enjoy!

We went into the hospital at 7:45 on the 29th. At the initial exam I was at a 4 and so the admitted me and started the paperwork. I had told them that I wanted pain medication and the nurse said that as soon as they had finished with the paperwork I should be ready and they would make the phone call. At that point I was feeling pretty good and thought I would be ok to wait.
Well 15 minutes later I was at an 8 and the baby was ready to come. The nurse was panicked and said that the nurse could not make it to the hospital before she would be born and that I would have to do it on my own. I started panicking, I was in so much pain and the thought of having to do it on my own was terrifying! But with the help of my dear hubby and two wonderful nurses I some how managed to do it! The on call Dr barely made it before I started pushing, good thing there was a resident doctor there to get me started! Well at 8:40, just shy of an hour after coming to the hospital she was born. She was 7lbs and 5 oz and 21 and 1/2 inches long (both of which were what Emma was when she was born!) She has a full head of dark brown hair and Emma's dimples.
After the delivery she cried and cried and the doctor said that because her delivery was so fast that she more than likely had a headache. After they took her and gave her a bath, she had calmed down. My mom and sister were able to come up and meet her that night while we were still in the delivery room. It was funny because when we called and told them to let everyone know that we were going to the hospital they then had to turn around and recall them to say she was here! What a crazy night! We called and talked to Emma to tell her that her baby sister had arrived and she was so excited but still sad that she would not be able to come see her! She also was freaked out when she heard Stella start crying in the background, she thought that I was crying! (She is a tad overprotective of me!)
On Monday Aaron had to go in for a half of day of work since he had just taken the past 4 days off, but with visitors and Stella I kept busy while he was gone! My dad even came up and took some great pictures of her!

This is so exciting! It is always so much fun to have anew baby around even if it only seems to last for a little while.
Congratulations! She's beautiful. Love her name.
