A day in the life...

Yesterday we took Emma to the dentist for her first appointment. When she was 18 months old she fell of the end table and broke her teeth so she went then just to make sure her teeth were ok, but this was her first real appointment. She was so excited and let the dentist look in her mouth. The dentist told her that her teeth were beautiful and that she had no cavities and that her front teeth will be good even with the break in them. She begged him to brush her teeth since he was using the toothbrush to look in her mouth. What a hoot! I am so relieved! I have the worst teeth and spend a lot of time at the dentist trying to make sure I can save them! Those darn genes! But it looks like Emma has her dad's teeth.

We have been working on Potty training Emma. She has gone when I put her on there but yesterday she told me she needed to go and we got her there and she went! I was so proud of her I know she has been really discouraged with it, but I know that she will get it. If anyone has any advise on potty training I would love it! We are working hard at it and I will love to know of anything that works!

Yesterday we head some new phrases out of Emma's mouth that really shocked us. First I had made her dinner and she told me " I don't want this... I hate this!" After that I think we heard her say hate at least 15 times. I guess we are now over "oh my gosh" and now ready to work on something else. Then after dinner Emma tells Aaron " I am going to hunt you down and kill you" We were both so shocked we had to idea what to tell her. We are really going to have to watch what she is hearing and seeing! Kids really do soak up everything like a sponge!

What a day! Glad they are all filled with such wonderful things!
