Our magical Halloween

I cant believe that Halloween has already come and gone and we are now into November. We had a wonderful Halloween this year. Emma is now old enough to understand what is going on, which is both a good and bad thing. She wanted to be a fairy princess like her kitty's outfit (thanks a lot Kristen!) So I found her a pattern that was perfect and picked out some amazing fabric which of course cost more than just buying one. My mom wanted me to learn to read a pattern so we went through it piece by piece with her telling me what to do. Well it was a horrible pattern and it took us FOREVER to make it. It is a good thing I am not working or else it would not have gotten done. But we finally finished it and I think she looked just like a fairy princess. I cured her hair in tiny ringlets right before. It only stayed an hour but at least I tried.

First we went to our ward's trunk or treat. I love these things. All the candy you need in a loop around the parking lot!
Then we were off to the mall to trick or treat there. It wasn't to crowded and I was able to stop in and get some much needed shopping done at our new Areopsotal! Emma was smart and asked for her stroller and she sat in it the whole time and just stuck our her bucket when there was candy. What a hoot. After wards it got dark so we let Emma and Joey use their light sticks until they were to tired to move. Since Emma was to excited for a nap she crashed not to long after.... so we had to cancel our plans with our friends, but Aaron and I were just as tired so we crawled into bed with a movie. By the way the new Hulk movie... very good! Hope everyone had just as great of a time.

What a great costume. Even if it did take you a while to get it done it looks great. I still need to learn how to actually read patterns, I just pretend still but so far the things that I have done turn out ok.
