I have not fully gotten into the couponing world. To be honest it is somewhat confusing! So it is a good thing that I have a good friend who is well versed into couponing! So Albertsons was having a stellar Quaker sale. 5 boxes for $5! I thought that was great considering the amount of granola bars and oatmeal we go through! But Then Amber told me that at Fred Myers they had coupons for the Quaker stuff so that it would only be 5 boxes for $2! Crazy huh, so Thursday night Amber and I went to get our hands on some of the goodies! I walked away with 25 boxes of granola bars, 10 boxes of oatmeal and 10 boxes of life cereal. I paid a grand total of $17.70! I saved $158.05. What a high to walk out with so much and have paid so little. We couldnt believe it. So of course we told everyone about it. So Friday night after a wonderful night of scrap booking with my friends, 8 of us went to Albertsons once again to stock up! I then got 5 boxes of granola bars, 5 oatmeal's, 10 boxes of Cinnamon life and 5 containers of oats. And the total $13.63 saving $94.75! What a boost to my food storage! Now to clean out the storage room so I can put it all away!

Wow!!! I need to hang out with you and Amber more. I was going to get into all the couponing world, but then was thrust into full time working, and the coupon thing does take time. That's totally awesome!
Woah! I love couponing! I wish I could figure it all out- but when you get awesome deals, it is all worth it.
