Coming Home

Since the delivery went well and there were no complications my doctor told us that we could go home after the 24 hours were up! Since Aaron had to work on Monday for a half of a day and the visitor restrictions were so tight and Emma could not come up to visit, I opted to leave Monday night. They had to wait until Dr West cleared Stella, but at 9:30pm we were all ready and released to go home to a very excited big sister. It seemed to take forever to get her all bundled up, we were use to a spring baby where you didn't need to get them into a to big for them snowsuit! But with some maneuvering we did it!

Emma was so tired when we got there but could not wait to meet her and hold her. She jumped right onto the couch with her arms wide open! She just loved Stella and was so soft with her. After about five minutes she was done and asked Aaron to put her to bed. We were so happy that she did so well with her. There was no jealousy just love for a new member of our family.

i just love that you have a big helper around. It nice to have one or two helpers when you come home.
Stella will really love her big sis to help care for her.

That made me get tears in my eyes. Thinking about how Kathryn will be with our next baby. I hope she's as good with ours as Emma is with Stella. I'm so happy for you. Congrats on the new baby!

Congratulations Kira and Aaron! I didn't realize she was coming so soon, or already supposed to be here. I'm so forgetful! She's beautiful and it looks like Emma's going to be a great big sister!
