Our Halloween

I know that I have needed to post these for a while, but have not wanted to. Halloween for me this year really showed me how much this pregnancy has slowed me down and a feel a little guilt about it not being what it should have been. But I know that there are some out there that wanted to see the pictures...so here goes!

We started our Halloween celebrations the Monday before by making cookies with My best friend Amber and her kids (and no there are no pictures....) We made orange sugar cookies and then put chocolate chips in them so that they looked like pumpkins! They turned out great and the kids had a great time making them.

We had made plans on Friday to carve pumpkins and have a little party, but after plans fell through We decided we were to tired to do it on our own ( once again me being a loser!) So we never did get the pumpkins carved. I am hoping that it was not to traumatic for Emma and she wont even realize!

Halloween day came and guess who could not find Emma's Halloween shirt or her bottoms for her Halloween PJ's! Yes that would be me. I washed them and everything so that they would be ready, and could not find them anywhere... until Sunday when I found them in her toys. So there is no cute pictures of her in her pumpkin shirt!

After running a couple of errand that morning we met Amber and her kids again to have lunch and go see Where the Wild Things Are. We were so excited to see it and thought the kids would just love it because they all loved the book! Well the movie did not live up to my expectations and did not hold Emma's attention. I had to bribe her with treats to get her to not ask to go home!

After that we raced home to get her ready for the night. She looked great in her witch costume, and after sleeping in a million braids she had that best hair!
Aaron was not able to get off until 5:00 so My sister and I took her and Joey to our wards trunk or treat. There were so many people there and I think she was set for candy after that. But we wanted to take her so that Aaron could be there, so we went to a friends wards. We had a good time and got some homemade goodies! After that we called it a night and went home. For dinner we made little pizza that looked like mummy's and all went to bed early! Here hoping next year will be better for us!
