I survived!

The wedding is FINALLY over and I am still in one piece. This past week has been one of the craziest and most stressful of my life! I am so grateful I got to witness another one of our siblings get sealed to their eternal sweetheart (we are now 6 for 6), but I am so tired I think I will need weeks to recover from it. Everything turned out wonderful and the weather cooperated so that family and friends could make it. I will try and give you a quick overview because so many have asked for pictures!

This first group is from January 2ND. Both Kourntey & Ben received their endowment in the Rexburg temple that day! Because of health problems Ben was not able to serve a mission so this was his first time to the temple. It was such a wonderful experience to be there when someone goes for the first time. My sister still does not seem old enough to have gone! But we all had a wonderful experience while we were there and it was the first time most of us have done a session there. And to explain the second picture... it was so windy while we were up there it was blowing us around and we had to litterly hold our dresses down or else the wind would pick it up!

Ahhh the sealing! It was amazing. Kourtney know the new temple president for IF so when he heard that she was getting married he wanted to seal them. It was a first for us to have a temple president at a sealing~ It was beautiful and the were so happy. Which was good because it was a balmy 15 degrees outside. We did most of our pictures in the visitors center because it was TOO cold to do them outside! These pictures are just snapshots from my sister. When we get the real ones I will post some of those!

And here is a glimpse of the reception! She did a movie themed reception which gave us so much to work with! She did not want a whole lot but she wanted it to be fun! The first two pictures are of the concession we made that was in the back of the room. When the entered they were given three tickets which they could redeem for popcorn, pop and candy! We had the local theatre pop the popcorn for us so it was the nice buttery kind! They we did a candy bar with all red, black and white candy and we severed pop in cup like at the movies! The third picture is the desserts in the middle of the room. The wedding cake was made by my mom and I. Arn't those dessert trays amazing. We bought them at costco for $20! We love them and have already used them several times. Next is Kourntey and her bridesmaids I posted this one so that you can see her bouquet which my mom, Kristen and I made! and last is the guest book! Hope these help give you an idea of how it looked~

As I am writing this I realize that there is no pictures of us! I will post some when I get a hold of the CD. There are not many because Emma having had a long weekend, only made it to 1/2 hour of the reception before falling asleep on my shoulder. So the pictures of her she is screaming and crying. And what a trooper Aaron is, he held her the entire reception! What a guy!

I hope each of you who helped make her day amazing know how MUCH we appreciate it! Weddings are so much work and I don't know what I would have done without the help! We are so trilled to have Ben a part of our family and loved celebrating with them this weekend! And we already miss you Mark and Kristen!

You guys did an amazing job!! Maybe you should think about doing weddings-seriously, you could set your own hours and prices!! I think it would be fun-you could get away with doing like 2 a month :0) and still make good money! I wished I could've been there to see it!
