Stella's Blessing

On March 14th Aaron blessed Stella in our home ward. Because Aaron's dad is a stake president in Montana we had to wait until he had a break in his Sunday schedule to bless her. So she was a little older than Emma when we were able to bless her. Aaron's parents and 2 of his sister and their families were able to be there with my family and our friends. The night before we went to IF with the Adams side of the family and had dinner at a Chinese restaurant. There were so many of us there that night but it was so great to see all of them and get to spend some time with them. We don't get to see all of them often enough. They are such great people, what a family to get to marry into!

Sunday morning bright and early (it was daylight saving so we gathered at what really was 8:00!) Aaron gave Stella such a beautiful blessing. It meant so much to me to be able to see my husband take out daughter in his arms and give her a blessing. I am grateful to have my husband hold the priesthood and to be surrounded by so many of our family. She is one loved little girl and I hope she felt that.

After the blessing we had brunch with our family and friends. It is always so wonderful to have everyone we love gathered together. After theparty was finished we were ready for a really long nap. It was a long but wonderful weekend.
