Stella's 3rd week

In Stella's third week it brought a new visitor. My sister Kristen and her daughter Sasha that live in Arizona. This week seemed to be super crazy as we spent alot of time at my parents house spending time with them, since we hardly get to see them.

Kristen brought lots of goodies for the girls when she came. She made Stella some really cute headbands and hat. She also brought with her some tuts I had her friend make for the new family pictures we are going to have taken. Emma wanted to try hers on and for some reason Joey ended up in it! Doesn't he look cute?
On the 12th my mom gave Stella her first massage. She had learned how to do infant massage to help when they got Joey. We used it with Emma to help when she was gassy and it really worked wonders for her. It wasn't her favorite thing to get a full massage, but Stella is a different story! She just loved it and let her massage her forever.

Over the weekend Stella's hematoma seemed to be getting bigger. I started to freak out wondering if it was just me, or had it gotten bigger. So on Monday the 14th I took her in once again to see Dr West. Well it wasn't just me it had in fact gotten bigger. He was worried about it and had me make an appointment to have a cat scan done on it so that he could see what was in it to make sure everything was ok. On Tuesday I took her in to have it down, I was scared and not sure what to expect. It was quick and easy and didn't bother her at all. The Dr called me later that evening to say that it was for sure just a hematoma and he was not sure why it had gotten bigger but that it would go down on it's own! What a relief. He wants to still see her every two weeks to keep an eye on it but is not worried about it anymore. YEAH

On the 16th my family decided to celebrate Christmas a little early. Since Kristen and Sasha were going home before Christmas we wanted to have dinner and do our sibling gift exchange before they left. So we all made a pan of lasagna and had a fest that night. And then exchanged gifts. Kristen and Mark gave Aaron a red sox lap top pad and me a necklace (made by Kristen)! Kristen also made a necklace and bow for Emma and Kourtney and Ben gave Stella a tag blanket. We all had a wonderful time and glad that we were able to do it with Kristen there.

This week was really busy and stressful, but it is always wonderful to see Kristen and Sasha and it was worth being worn out by the end of it!

How nice that your sister was able to be there for a little while. What a fun early Christmas you got to have.
