Fall is my favorite season and there is so much that we love about it! The leaves changing colors and falling off (which means big leaf piles to play in), the cooler air and so much more. This fall it has been hard to get out and enjoy it than usually! With Aaron's school schedule and the weird weather we thought we were going to miss our car rides to see the leaves, but a couple of Fridays ago we were able to go to ISU and look at all the colors and Emma even got to play in a couple of really big piles!
Emma and I the past couple of years have loved raking the leaves in our front yard and putting them into those pumpkin trash bags! Well this year I was able to get them raked up but bending over and putting them in the trash bag never happened (thank goodness Aaron finished the project for us yesterday!) We also put our pumpkins we grew out on the steps! What a fun look it was.
Another thing that we love about fall is the marching band season! This is the last year that my brother will be in the band and he is the last of us! So we had to make sure that we got to see him compete this year. We all went one Saturday to Holt Arena and cheered as loud as we could for him. They did such a great job and it was fun to be able to watch him, brought back such great memories!
The warm weather we are having is keeping that wonderful fall weather still with us, but we know that the cold weather will set in and then winter will come. Which brings many good and bad things with it..... But we were glad to have fall for as long as it lasts!

I too love fall! I am very sad though because somehow we have missed the changing colors of the leaves this time. We had an early freeze and the leaves are all just dead no fun colors to look at this year, It is very sad to see the dead leaves outside.
I miss marching season, I heard that extravaganza was pretty fun this year though. I'm glad I got to see one picture from it. I can't believe your brother is the last one in your family to do it. Will you still be going to watch any of them preform next year?

I can't believe your baby is on it's last few days. You look great. I love Fall too. Even if our fall isn't the same as yours. Just being able to turn the AC off for a month or so is great before turning on the heater. I'm so excited to meet your little one.
Oh yea my 10 year reunion is this weekend and part of it is to go to a football game! I'm excited to see the band perform!!!
Gotta say, fall is the best! I always wish it lasted longer! What fun pictures! I love playing in the leaves!
