A busy couple of weeks!

4 weeks... my goodness so much has happened for us this past month. After reading this you will understand why there has not been a post for a while. I am feeling much better these days and are grateful for that because on May 21st my sister and her family came into town. My brother in laws sister was getting married and they came up to celebrate their marriage, but Kristen and Sasha stayed another almost two weeks with us here! It was so great to see her and have her hang out with us. It was a sad good bye when she did leave last week. But here is a short recap of the packed couple of weeks we had with them.

On the 23rd we attended the reception of miss Autumn! We have known her since she was a little girl and it was a lot of fun to see her get married. Emma loved the reception and spend the night twirling around the floor.

This is a tidbit of Emma and Sasha! She sure loved playing with her since she does not get to see her very often!

This is a picture of the big event that happened to our family! On May 28th, which is also my dad's birthday, my parents finalized the adoption of little Joey to our family. It is so weird that he is now officially our brother. It was great we were all there to wittiness such a great event!

On the 30th we all headed to Lava to spend the day as a family. The first couple of hours were great and everyone had a great time. Then the rain clouds rolled in and we had to leave. It was still great to get together and have fun in the sun!

On June 2nd we had the opportunity to have Joey sealed to us as a family. My dad is a convert to the church so my sister and I were sealed to them on June 2nd so my parents wanted the date the same for all of us. It was the most amazing experience I have ever had. My teenage brother and sister were given limited use recommends to attend the event. We also had a handful of really close people there to share it with us! My dear friend Amber was able to come and it was so special having her there. The only person that we were missing was Mark! We wish you could have been there. I can't imagine what life would be like with out those wonderful sealing ordinances. I could not imagine not being able to have Joey be a part of our lives forever! After wards we all went to Red Robin for dinner! YUM

Then on June 3rd we had to say good bye to Kristen! It was so hard to see her go after all the fun things we were able to do with her. Arizona is to far away. But hopefully we will get to see her again soon! These pictures were taken that day. There were trying to get good pictures of the cousins. They did not cooperate, but I thought some of them were blog worthy!

On the 4th Aaron's parents were able to stop in on their way to Utah. It had been forever since we have been able to see them. It was great to spend that time with them. The rest of the family was getting together in Utah for the weekend, but we were not able to make it down there because...

I had tickets to Time Out for Women! WOW what an uplifting weekend! I really needed to get that spirtual feeding. Aaron and I have been struggling lately with him looking for a new job that will be something less stressful and focus on going to school full time to finish through his masters! I know that Heavenly Father also has a road for us, even if we cant see if for ourselves at the moment. That is how we fill right now. We know that there are better things ahead if we have the faith to follow his lead. I am grateful that as a religion we have opportunities like time out for our faith to be renewed! I was able to go with my mom, best friends and a group of other amazing ladies. We even got to meet Hilary Weeks!

So that is what I have been up to in a nutshell. We have had so much fun but at the same time have been worn ourselves out. We are looking forward to slowing down and getting some things done around that house. The little baby is starting to poke out and I promise to get those pictures out in the next couple of days. I hit the 15 week mark this week and glad to be out of the scary miscarriage zone. I hope that each of you have had a great couple of weeks and promise to go better with keeping up to date!
