Round one

Well we are now officially into these fertility treatment. I know it seems to be all we blog about any more, but right now that seems to be our life in a nut shell. Yesterday I got my positive ovulation test so I did as I was instructed and called the Doctor. I did not realize that they do not work on Fridays. The receptionist was there answering phone call and said that she would call the doctor and then call me back. She called right back saying the doctor would meet us up there at 1:00. I was so impressed that he was willing to come in on his day off to do the procedure. What a guy. Aaron and I met him up there. It was weird walking down the hall with all the offices dark and no one there. There is usually people everywhere. The procedure lasted less than an hour and ended up ended up being less scary than I thought. It was like having my exam done. There was some cramping while he did it and a little afterwards, but I am used to that. So today we fell must better have done the first round. We will do another round on Monday and then call it good for this cycle. We are so grateful to those of you who have given us the support that we needed right now. After Monday we will play the long waiting game.
And as a side note, my little sister Kourtney who got married in January is having a baby! Needless to say this has been a roller coaster of a week. I am glad that it is coming to an end. But my mom, Emma and I have planned a trip down to Arizona to see my sister and my good friends during spring break. I need a break and the sunshine. So it will give me something to look forward to after the treatments are over.
