Our poor garden

I went to Lava two weekends ago to get away with some friends and scrapbooked all weekend. (It was amazing by the way and I got 34 layouts done. I now can say that I am officially into 2008! YEAH) But while I was gone Aaron forgot to cover the garden and it all froze! It was sad because we got a late start planting it because we had to clear the area so it was almost all ready when we got some early snow. But we were able to get some out of our little garden this year:

* Several tomatoes

* Many huge zucchinis

* 2 squashes

* Lettuce to make 2 salads

* Green beans and peas as sides for 2 dinners

* 3 pumpkins (only one was really orange!)

* and 6 beautiful sunflowers

We are looking forward to next year so that we can have an even bigger garden now that we have successfully cleaned the rest of our yard!

I really miss having agarden. Sorry that it was frozen. Glag that you got to reap some of the yumminess from it. Good luck with next season.

Chuck is going to Colorado for work, and hoping to be back by friday, so we'll see. For Halloween I am going to help with Morgans class party and then we'll probably have a little party with Chuck's family. But I would love to get together.

Well, at least you had a garden! Next year my goal is to try and find a corner in our pint-sized back yard to build one. (Maybe next year anyways!)
