An Olympic sized withdral

I will admit it I am an Olympic junkie! I loved watching every minute of it. I saw all of Micheal Phelps swims. I watch every gymnastic event. I watch Misty May and Kerry Walsh win the 2ND gold medal in beach Volleyball... I saw it all. I really love my TIVO~

I have had such a hard time this week. Now it is boring programming. Nothing to inspire me, nothing to give me that drive to yell and scream for the US to win another medal. No wonderful inspiration stories that make me want to cry. Life has gone back to normal, but I am glad that for two week we were able to come together as a nation and really fall in love with our athletes and what it means to be a part of this county. I felt a peace that is not normally in our everyday lives.

Aaron and I went out to dinner and they had the Olympics on and it was when Micheal Phelps was swimming. It went dead silent in the restaurant and for a Texas Roadhouse that is saying alot! Everyone watched him swim and when he won the whole place started cheering. It was amazing... we all wanted the same things and for a moments I had something in common with everyone there that night.

I don't know if everyone got a chance to see the visa commericals that were put on during the commerical breaks. I loved them! But my favorite was the one that they played at the end... it really was how I felt so I hope you watch it! I wish that we could take that feeling and have it all the time.
I know that it makes me grateful for our wonderful religion. I get that feeling every Sunday... I wish that we could extend it to the world and to live in peace and acceptance all the time!

We are missing the olympics too. Everyday this week my 3 year old asks if we can watch the olympics. When I tell them they are over he gets upset. We'll have to find more things to fill our time now.
