This time last year Aaron, Emma and I were involved in a horrible car accident. It is hard to believe that a year has already passed because it is still so vivid in our minds. For those of you who done know what happened...
We were camping in west Yellowstone and had planned to spend the wee
kend in Yellowstone. I had never been to the whole park and we wanted Emma to see all the animals. When we got there we first when to the falls and then stopped for lunch. After that we started heading up to tower. While on our way there we were creasting a hill and there was a van two cars in front of us who slammed on their brakes. Because we had not seen it coming because we had just got visual of the situation, Aaron did not have enough time to stop. He turned towards the side of the road so we did not hit the car in front of us. But while he did that he clipped a
tree and rolled the car 1 and 1/2 times and landed on its roof. Aaron was not wearing his seat belt and landed on the roof and Emma was suspended in her car seat. A lot of really nice people stopped to help us. They got us out the side window which had blown out. Emma was bleeding really bad, but it was just a small cut on her head.
Once they got us out and the rangers came the decided to take us the clinic to check Aaron's neck. At the clinic the were able to patch Emma cut but they could not make a decision on Aaron. So we rode up to Livingston, Montana in the ambulance to have better tests run. The wonderful part about this was Aaron got car sick and had to throw up but he was on the board so I had to hold his bag while he threw up! Good thing I love him.

At the hospital the cleared him and gave him medication to help with the pain. At the point where were stranded up there. Our wonderful parents can to the rescue. Aaron's parents and my mom and her friend all met us up there. We were all still in shock that it was wonderful to have them there to comfort us and help us take care of things and get us back home.
We are so grateful that nothing happened to us in the wreck. Even though that day was so hard for us it has really taught us so much. We know what is imporant to us and what we need to fight for! We were amazed at the love and support that was given to us during that time! We cherish each moment we have on this life and look forward to the eternities we get to spend with our families.

I remember hearing Korth tell someone that you had been in an accident. Unfortantely, I never heard the whole story. I'm so sorry! That must have been so scary! I'm glad that you all were okay!
wow I didn't know any of that story! -- I'm glad none of you were seriously hurt. What a crazy thing to remember every 4th of July weekend to make you more grateful, huH?
