This weekend was packed full of events. Which is why I am so late in getting this posted. On Friday I took the day off and left Emma with my parents and me and my friends drove down to Utah for the semi annual Making Memories warehouse sale. We left at 8:30 and drove straight thought. The warehouse is in Centerville and when we got there we went to town. Everything there is dirt cheap and we were able to stock up with embellishments, metal, rub ons, binders and paper! I did the best and only walked out sending $60! But I had at least $150 worth of stuff! Afterwards we went to lunch at the Olive Garden and I got the new Chicken dish...it was so good! I would recommend it to anyone. Then we came home afterwards. It was nice to spend a day with my friends and get out of the day to day life! And even better to get some great scrapbook supplies that were really cheap.
Then on Saturday we went to the Monster Trucks at ISU. Again my friends, our husbands and the kids all went. We all had dinner before and then headed up there. The Holt Arena was packed with fans we were really surprised how many people where there. But once it started Emma was glued to everything. We had bought a pair of ear plugs to help with the noise, but she did not want to wear them. The event lasted until 11:00pm but Emma did so good the entire time. We even got to see three trucks get busted up. We had a lot of fun but we were all so tired when the day was over.
